25 Riverside Academy Teachers Graduate with International Diploma in Education Awarded by the University of Buckingham in Partnership with Edify

Fumesua, Ashanti Region, Ghana — 17 October 2026
Twenty-five teachers from Riverside Academy have graduated with the International Diploma in Education (IDE) in Christ-Centred Education, awarded by the University of Buckingham in partnership with Edify.
The intensive and rigorous one-year programme is largely sponsored by Edify and designed for teachers in its partner schools in Ghana. Delivered online through a Learning Management System (LMS), it equips teachers and school leaders with practical skills to improve teaching, classroom management and christ-centred learning environments.

Riverside Academy held an in-house diploma presentation ceremony on Friday, 9 October 2026, at the school’s STEM Lab. Students and staff attended to celebrate the graduates and cheer on their teachers as they received their diplomas.
The programme is already having a positive effect on teaching and learning at Riverside Academy, with participating teachers applying what they have learnt in their classrooms.
A further five teachers from the school have also started the programme and are currently in their final semester. Their participation mirrors Riverside Academy’s continued commitment to investing in its teachers and providing quality, world-class education.
The achievement comes ahead of the school’s 20th anniversary celebration, marking two decades of educating children and serving families in the community.
Riverside Academy congratulates all 25 graduates and recognises Edify and the University of Buckingham for their contribution to the programme.
