Riverside Academy is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 edition of the Community Scholarship Award (COMSA) – an initiative dedicated to providing quality education in a supportive Christian learning environment to brilliant but financially disadvantaged children in our community.

COMSA is more than a scholarship. It is a transformational opportunity for children with exceptional potential and character who are currently unable to access quality education due to financial constraints. The scholarship covers tuition, meals, learning materials, and full school uniforms.

Last year, two deserving students were awarded fully funded scholarships for their entire Junior High School education through COMSA. This life-changing support was made possible by our overseas-based donors, as part of Riverside Academy’s commitment to social and corporate responsibility.

🗓 Key Dates for COMSA 2025 – Cohort 2

Application Deadline: Friday, 15th August 2025
Shortlisting: Wednesday, 20th August 2025
Entry Assessment & Interview: Monday, 25th August 2025
Home Visits (if needed): Wednesday, 27th August 2025
Final Results Announcement: Friday, 29th August 2025
Award Ceremony: Thursday, 5th September 2025, at the Riverside Academy Forecourt
Orientation Day: Friday, 6th September 2025
School Begins: Monday, 8th September 2025

📌 Eligibility Criteria

Must demonstrate strong academic promise and good character

Must come from a financially challenged background

Must be entering JHS 1 in September 2025

Must reside within the Ejisu Municipal Catchment Area

Application forms are available at the Riverside Academy front office or can be requested via email at admin@riverside.edu.gh. Completed forms must be submitted by 15th August 2025.
