Riverside Academy Kicks Off 20th Anniversary Celebrations with Mega Float

Riverside Academy has officially launched its 20th anniversary celebrations with a mega float and procession through Fumesua and Kyerekrom, bringing the excitement of the milestone to the wider community.
The procession featured a brass band, singing and dancing, creating a festive atmosphere as the school announced the start of its year-long anniversary celebrations. Students proudly wore the school’s new 20th Anniversary Edition polo shirts, marking the beginning of a special year in Riverside Academy’s history.
Preschool and lower primary pupils also joined the celebrations, marching to Alhaji Salia Junction and back to the school, while another group took a detour through Kyerekrom. The different routes allowed more learners to take part and share the anniversary excitement with the surrounding communities.

Joining the procession were Alumni President, Dr (Med) Adomah Mensah-Dapaah; Executive Director, David Yaw Chikpa Abeseabe; and the Director of Academics and staff. The procession was escorted by the Ghana Police Service.
Established in 2006, Riverside Academy is marking two decades of educating children and serving families in its community. The anniversary builds on the school’s 10th anniversary theme, “Moulding Lives for Impact and for Purpose,” reflecting its commitment to preparing learners to make meaningful contributions to society.
A calendar of activities for the year-long celebration will be published soon, with the celebrations set to climax in July 2027.
Riverside Academy invites its learners, parents, alumni, staff, partners and the wider community to join in celebrating this important milestone.
Twenty years of learning, growth and community. The celebration has begun!
