🌍 LAUNCH OF OUR GREEN CHALLENGE 2025: PLASTIC BOTTLE RECYCLING PROJECT! ♻️

Riverside Academy is delighted to announce the Plastic Bottle Recycling Project, an essential part of the Edify Community Transformation Project (ECTP-24) and our entry into the Green Challenge 2025.

This initiative represents a whole-school, student-led approach to promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility. Our students are at the forefront of this project, demonstrating leadership, creativity, and commitment to making a positive impact on the environment.

Our Objectives:

✅ To reduce plastic waste and pollution ✅ To conserve natural resources ✅ To lower our carbon footprint ✅ To advance environmental stewardship and training ✅ To fulfil our responsibility to care for the environment

Event Highlights: 🎤 Motivational speeches from the Compound Prefect and School Leadership 🎉 A symbolic first plastic bottle drop🎓 A thought-provoking presentation by RecycleMe Ghana on the significance and impact of recycling 🤝 Collaboration with our valued partners: Edify, RecycleMe Ghana, and Polytank

Through this initiative, we aim to embed sustainable practices into our school culture, fostering environmental awareness and inspiring action within and beyond our community. This project is a testament to our commitment to equipping the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed to safeguard our planet. 🌱
